GN Hearing Senior .NET Developer with Azure in Warszawa, Poland
In the role of Senior .NET Developer with Azure in GN’s Platform Development team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will use your solid backend and data integration skills to design, build, and optimize solutions that keep our product data flowing reliably across GN’s digital ecosystem.
The team you will be part of:
You will join GN’s Platform Development team, focusing on digital exploration, development, and innovation. We work project-based with curiosity, speed, and experimentation at the core – turning new digital ideas into robust, working solutions. You will be part of a Scrum team reporting to the Head of Platform Development and collaborating closely with colleagues in Denmark, Poland, and across GN’s global organization. Our culture is open, collaborative, and grounded in practical experience: we share knowledge freely, challenge ideas constructively, and prioritize building stable, high-quality platforms that make life easier for our business stakeholders.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Design, develop, and maintain event-driven backend services and integrations using C#, .NET, and REST APIs
Build and maintain robust data flows into and out of our inRiver PIM platform and connected systems such as Salesforce
Model and transform product and reference data to support reliable enrichment and downstream consumption
Enhance system robustness, monitoring, and error management across our integration landscape, prioritizing data quality and stability
Collaborate with solution architects and developers on data models, integration patterns, and platform improvements
Investigate and resolve incidents related to data flows, performance, and integration behavior across environments
Contribute to technical design discussions, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team
Be responsible for long-running platform engineering tasks – from refactoring, automation and reducing technical debt in our Azure-based setup to simplifying data structures and reducing the number of fields Product Enrichers need to maintain manually.
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
Are comfortable working in English in a distributed, cross-cultural environment
Like dealing with data models, data flows, and complex integrations, and appreciate the challenge of making them clearer and more reliable
Bring a keen interest in understanding end-to-end systems and data interactions
Collaborate effectively with others, communicate clearly, and build solid relationships with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Are motivated by continuous learning and are ready to go in-depth with inRiver and other new tools when needed
Thrive in a collaborative, experimental setup and like balancing quick tactical fixes with longer-term platform improvements.
What is required:
Professional experience as a backend/integrations engineer working with event-driven enterprise solutions
+5 years of practical development experience with C#, .NET, and REST APIs
Solid experience designing, implementing, and operating data integrations in data-heavy domains such as PIM, MDM, ecommerce, CRM, or similar
Experience working with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB , as well as cloud-based or hybrid-based architectures
Thorough understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and automating data flows between systems
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as Cosmos DB, DynamoDB, or MongoDB
Experience with CI/CD tools and modern engineering practices for build, deployment, and monitoring
Ability to handle complex incidents across multiple systems and environments, with a focus on data quality and stability.
It is beneficial to have:
Experience with PIM platforms – eg, inRiver, or a clear motivation to learn it in depth as a key data platform
Background from other data-heavy contexts, for example, finance, ERP, or similar environments with complex data and integration requirements
Experience with cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, or other cloud providers such as AWS or GCP
Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores and designing schemas for large-scale data
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and distributed teams.
At GN we pride ourselves on encouraging flexible working whenever possible. We trust our people to carry out their tasks, to know when in-person collaboration is better than hybrid, and to be present when it's needed most.
