Line Cook
SilverLake Family Restaurant in Warsaw, NY and Parkside Diner in Castile, NY are looking for experienced Line Cooks to join their kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
-Preparing and cooking food according to recipes and menu specifications. -Setting up and stocking stations with ingredients, utensils, and equipment before service. -Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and at their station. -Coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed efficiently and accurately. -Monitoring food quality and presentation, including seasoning, portioning, and plating. -Assisting in inventory management and replenishing supplies as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
-Strong culinary skills, including knife handling, cooking techniques, and recipe execution. -Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. -Teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with other cooks and front-of-house staff. -Attention to detail to maintain consistency and quality.
These are Full-time opportunities with a wage of $18-$20/hour, depending on skills/experience.
