Lead Flooring Installer
Job Description and Duties The Lead Flooring Installer is responsible for overseeing installation projects from start to finish.
Key duties include: 1)Managing installation projects from initial contact through completion. 2)Coordinating and supervising a team of installers, delegating tasks as needed. 3)Communicating with clients to understand their preferences and expectations. 4)Conducting site assessments to determine the appropriate flooring solutions. 5)Preparing flooring layouts and specifications based on project requirements. 6)Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. 7)Training and mentoring junior installers and apprentices. 8)Troubleshooting any installation-related issues that arise during the process. 9)Work along side Installers to complete flooring projects
Qualifications: Ideal candidates should have previous flooring experience, especially in a supervisory capacity. In-depth knowledge of various flooring materials and installation techniques, excellent leadership and team management skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, physical stamina, and familiarity with flooring tools and safety equipment.
Required 1)Manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise cutting and installation. 2)Basic math and measurement skills to calculate material needs and layout. 3)Experience with hand and power tools used in flooring installation preferred. 4)Ability to work independently or as part of a team and manage time effectively. 5)Physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Salary: $17.00/hour - $25.00/hour, depending on skills and experience.
