Wyoming County Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility Cook in Warsaw, New York
COOK: WYOMING COUNTY COMMUNITY HEALTH SYSTEM
HOURS: All shifts as assigned - Full Time
SALARY: $21.60 - $23.76 per hour
LOCATION:Wyoming County Community Health System 400 North Main Street, Warsaw, New York 14569
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This position involves responsibility for preparing and cooking a variety of foods in a safe and sanitary manner. In large-scale food service operations, an incumbent may be responsible for a specific component of meal preparation, such as meats, vegetables, or desserts. In smaller operations, the incumbent may be responsible for the preparation of entire meals and may oversee the work of subordinate staff. Work is performed under general supervision with leeway for the independent performance of assigned duties. Supervision may be exercised over assistant cooks and/or food service helpers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: One year experience in large-scale cooking; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
