The Role
This is a Pre-Contract Engagement position to meet, talk and present to potential clients about our early contractor involvement (ECI) approach including the benefits and experience, whilst helping develop ECI offers and estimates.
Key Responsibilities
ECI Lead – manage, coordinate, work with commercial teams
Lead ECI phase work with key clients – coordinate, control and organise people, activities and information
Proactively engage with client personnel (e.g. project manager), work with them to deliver our services and provide support to their work
Manage BUK personnel from within ECI team and wider BUK organisation to provide the agreed ECI services and create professional and value adding deliverables and inputs
Review deliverables and activities by BUK team to ensure suitable quality, meet the agreed requirements and look appropriate / well-structured and presented; Highlight value creation by BUK
Support and manage development of estimates and time schedules
Monitor expenditure vs budget and control – discussion with internal personnel and client as appropriate to ensure services delivered within budget

Experience Required
Experience of project execution, particularly on site
Construction background preferred
Strong written and presentation experience along with Numerical and excel skills
This role may well suit a person with a broad initial experience of projects, with a willingness to engage and be proactive to gain experience in project management and project execution.
