Actalent Civil Engineer in Warrenville, Illinois
We're looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team!
Description
Utilize Civil 3D to create the design of grading/ earthwork, erosion control and stormwater pollution prevention plans, stormwater design, design of pavement
Prepare engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projects
Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, design review
May visit project sites for field inspection if needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
5+ years of site development related experience (residential, commercial project experience)
PE or ability to get one within a year
Strong Civil 3D skills
Willingness to travel to Chicago 1-2 times/year for team events
Experience in land development and stormwater analysis and design
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Site development experience with state and local regulatory agencies
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all project stakeholders (client, contractor, sub-consultants,
residents)
Strong interpersonal and communications to interact with the public and resolve problems with contractors
Must be able to work independently and with a team on projects
Candidate must be organized, self-motivated, dependable, personable, able to multitask, and work
effectively as a team member

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warrenville, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
