Job Summary
Premier Traffic Team is actively hiring certified Crew Leads and Flaggers for traffic control operations in Fauquier County and surrounding areas. We provide safe, compliant, and professional traffic control services for roadway, utility, and construction projects.
Crew Leads must be experienced and properly certified. Flaggers must be reliable, safety-focused, and willing to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Position Types
Traffic Control Crew Lead (Certified)
Requirements:
- Current VDOT/ATSSAcertification (required)
- Proven experience leading traffic control crews
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid drivers license (required)
- Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage crew on job sites
- Ensure full compliance with VDOT standards and MUTCD guidelines
- Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices
- Communicate with contractors, inspectors, and team
- Complete daily reports, site diaries, and timesheets
- Ensure safety of crew and traveling public at all times
Traffic Control Flagger
Requirements:
- ATSSA or VDOT Flagger certification (preferred, but will train)
- Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
- Strong attention to safety and awareness
- Ability to follow direction
Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic using proper flagging procedures
- Maintain safe work zones
- Assist with setup and breakdown of traffic control devices
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies
