Job Title: Pharmacist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join a small team in a long-term care setting. The position offers Monday to Friday clinic hours.
Responsibilities
Prepare and dispense medications.
Review prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
Monitor patient history and ensure safe drug administration.
Answer patient questions.
Ensure quality and safety of medications.
Manage inventory and maintain regulatory compliance.
Organize workflow and documentation.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in pharmacy operations and medication dispensing.
Strong data entry skills.
Experience with order entry and prior authorization.
Excellent customer service abilities.
Knowledge of pharmacy benefits management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
Active Minnesota Pharmacist License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Environment
The role is based in a long-term care pharmacy operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The work environment is collaborative, focused on quality patient care, and adheres to regulatory standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warrenton, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
