Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join a small team in a long-term care setting. The position offers Monday to Friday clinic hours.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications.

  • Review prescriptions for accuracy and safety.

  • Monitor patient history and ensure safe drug administration.

  • Answer patient questions.

  • Ensure quality and safety of medications.

  • Manage inventory and maintain regulatory compliance.

  • Organize workflow and documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in pharmacy operations and medication dispensing.

  • Strong data entry skills.

  • Experience with order entry and prior authorization.

  • Excellent customer service abilities.

  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefits management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Active Minnesota Pharmacist License.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Environment

The role is based in a long-term care pharmacy operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The work environment is collaborative, focused on quality patient care, and adheres to regulatory standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warrenton, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
