As a Controls Engineer you will be a member of a diverse team to modify existing equipment and install new process equipment. The controls engineer will involve themselves with all phases of the project, starting with developing concepts, providing estimates, developing installation timelines, designing power and controls, supporting installation, and testing the equipment. You will report to the GOS Manager; Control and Information System Engineering and be located at our Warrendale facility. This is a hybrid role based in Warrendale. Key Responsibilities: Understand and help define project specifications and performance requirements for the equipment and system. Understand and help define project requirements for modifications to existing control systems or installation of new control system hardware to meet project needs. Create and provide changes to Process and Instrumentation Drawings, Electrical Elementaries and Loop Sheets. Prepare technical documents to support purchase of equipment, installation of equipment, and testing / qualification of equipment. Convey project information to all levels of the organization including all stakeholders. Help with testing (SWIL/FAT/SAT) and maintain the project specific simulation model (i.e., ACSL/Matlab).* Provide technical support and input to Westinghouse I&C management.
Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering. A degree in other disciplines may be considered with demonstrated instrumentation and controls acumen. * Desire for pursuing a career in control systems engineering * Preferred skills: Emerson Ovation, MATLAB, Hardware design (Panels/Cabinets/etc) We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year. #LI-Hybrid
