We currently have four distribution center locations; Lordstown, Ohio (headquarters), Rochester, New York, Jacksonville, Florida and are always looking for growth opportunities. We have recently announced that we are building a new distribution center in Knoxville, TN to open in late 2026. Transportation and Warehouse are the two largest departments at each DC and typically operate 24/7.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Managers, the Training and Development Specialist will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for AD associates. This position assesses associates' developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for associates. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

?[      ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Conduct needs assessments by consulting with managers and surveying employees to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities.

?[      ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 10pt"=""}Design and create instructional materials, including online learning modules, training manuals, and course content.

?[      ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 10pt"=""}Facilitate and deliver training programs to employees using a variety of formats and instructional techniques.

?[      ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 10pt"=""}Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by measuring outcomes and gathering feedback to inform future adjustments.

?[      ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 10pt"=""}Manage the logistical aspects of training, such as scheduling sessions, coordinating enrollment, and overseeing training budgets.
