Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, installing, and upgrading machinery and control systems to ensure optimal performance. The technician will work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform welding tasks, and follow preventative maintenance protocols.
Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, install, and upgrade machinery and control systems.
Maintain a safe work environment following established safety procedures.
Read, edit, and create PLC ladder logic.
Maintain production equipment including mechanical and electrical systems.
Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on machinery.
Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Perform MIG and stick welding, burning, and cutting for machinery repairs.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Follow safety procedures diligently.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience or 3 years with technical schooling.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with a preference for electrical expertise.
Experience with 480, AC/DC and 110v, 220v, 480v systems.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Possession of own tools.
Basic welding skills (MIG or stick preferred).
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience repairing cranes.
Experience working on conveyors, stamping presses, reduction mills, slitters, and presses.
PLC programming knowledge.

Work Environment
This direct-hire position is within a union shop, offering a clean and well-lit work environment that can be noisy due to stamping presses. The facility is a heavy industrial steel environment. The position is on the 3rd shift from 11pm-7am, with an additional off-shift pay differential and bonus program. Employees enjoy a supportive and safety-conscious atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $76960.00/yr.
