CNC Mill Machinist – Aerospace (3rd Shift)
Location: Metro Detroit, MI (Warren area)
Pay: $25–$30/hour + 15% shift differential
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer in the Metro Detroit area to identify experienced CNC Mill Machinists for 3rd shift opportunities. This role supports the production of large, high-precision components for both commercial and military aerospace programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling and/or turning machines
Run multiple machines simultaneously within machining cells when applicable
Machine large parts ranging from approximately 30” to 70” in diameter
Work with hard metals including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and operation sheets
Utilize Fanuc controls and perform offsets as required
Load/unload parts and fixtures using hoists and lifting equipment
Read and interpret CNC programs at the machine
Set up tooling based on tool sheets and job requirements
Perform inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
Maintain tight tolerances in high-precision machining environments
Support additional machining and production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred)
Experience operating multi-axis CNC milling machines
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Experience with Fanuc controls and machine offsets
Ability to read and interpret CNC programs at the machine
Experience using precision measuring instruments
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfortable standing for extended periods and accessing machine platforms
Willingness to work overtime as needed
