Job Title: CAD DrafterJob Description
We are seeking a qualified CAD Drafter experienced in AutoCAD – MEP software to develop and design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.
Responsibilities
Develop design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.
Set up drawings according to established CAD standards.
Coordinate with the CAD requirements of clients.
Draft mechanical and electrical drawings, including process piping, electrical distribution, and control for water and wastewater projects (70% Electrical design, 30% Mechanical design).
Conduct field validation of the drawings along with the Design Engineer.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience within an AE firm.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
At least 1 year of working experience with Revit (not school experience).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with MicroStation.
Knowledge in wastewater design and engineering.
Skills in plumbing and fire protection.
Work Environment
The team consists of 21 people in the Warren office, operating from 8 AM to 4:30 PM with a flexible schedule. Business casual attire is expected, and work from home is available on Fridays. The company culture is family-like, featuring bi-monthly employee lunches, potlucks, a 4th of July BBQ, and a Christmas party. Additionally, the President hosts a summer BBQ for all employees. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
