Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Wareham, Massachusetts
Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Wareham, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing a financial pricing tool that supports our clients in optimizing their pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, cost accounting, and advanced Excel techniques.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement a dynamic financial pricing tool tailored to client needs.
• Analyze client financial statements to identify key metrics and input data for pricing optimization.
• Develop dashboards that provide actionable insights into pricing strategies and cost structures.
• Utilize cost accounting principles to evaluate goods or services and recommend optimal pricing.
• Perform detailed variance analysis to assess financial performance and identify trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather financial data and ensure accurate tool functionality.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to address specific client requirements.
• Apply data mining techniques to extract and interpret critical business information.
• Provide training and support to clients using the pricing tool and dashboards.
• Ensure all financial models are aligned with industry best practices and client goals. Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis and cost accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including modeling and formula creation.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their components.
• Expertise in performing variance analysis and interpreting financial data.
• Familiarity with data mining techniques and tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Prior experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not required.
