Electromechanical Assembler Job/Duties: Performs variety of electronic and mechanical subassembly and assembly operations of a repetitive nature to build up units such as PC boards, cable harness and simple electronic/mechanical assemblies May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting, stripping, wiring, and fastening connections May do reworks Must be able to pull raw cable and strip cable Working from diagrams or established production practices Using small hand tools such as soldering iron, wire strippers, crimpers, etc. May use potting material and other chemicals for building product May operate drill presses, etc Must have excellent soldering skills and fine hand/eye coordination Must be able to work on small color coded boards Must be able to work from prints and engineering specifications Qualifications: 1 to 3 years of experience Complex assembly skills Excellent fine soldering skills Experience in electronic construction/repair of PC Cards/wiring Experience in cable assembly Some electrical theory preferred Education: High School/Trade School The pay rate for this role is \$24.00 - \$26.00 per hour.
