Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist
Pay Rate: $25–$30 per hour
Job Type: Temporary (Temp-to-Hire Potential)
Schedule: 30–40 hours per week (Flexible: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Wareham, MA
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent hire for the right candidate. This role will play a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow by managing collections, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute collections activities, including contacting customers regarding outstanding balances
Review, edit, and process invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records
Communicate professionally with clients to resolve billing issues and disputes
Assist with reporting and account analysis as needed
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient billing and payment processes
Qualifications
Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or collections required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP systems a plus)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Work Schedule
Flexible schedule: 30–40 hours per week
Options include 8:00 AM–3:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
