This open Position will be located at our Walton Kentucky site for a Special Processes Quality Assurance Engineer, as support of Wheels

& Brakes (WB) and Systems & Equipment Divisions.

Linked to Material and Special Processes Quality Assurance Manager, you will be in charge of

the qualification, validation and improvement of Special Processes (SP) applied on Safran LS

WB parts.

In this context, you should have the skills to :

  • Pilot the qualification and monitor the WB supply chain (internal and external), in SP

(chemical processes and Non Destructive Testing commodities mainly) in America aera

  • Technically support the internal and external Supply Chain in the industrial validation process

of development and serial production (Formalization of technical requirements - validation

program including risk analysis and results validation)

  • With consistency to purchasing strategy, accompany the deployment of new processes,

transfers ad new industrializations

  • Be a main player in SP non conformities treatment : root cause and transversalization (8D),

identification and implementation of appropriate solutions to prevent non conformity

  • Contribute to SP robustness improvement from study to manufacturing (PFMEA), taking into

account the Safran LS features

  • Technically assess the new sources identified by purchasing
