John Muir Health Program Coordinator - Ambulatory Business and Clinical Support - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days in Walnut Creek, California
Job Description:
The Business and Clinical Support Program Coordinator ensures regulatory compliance through oversight of permits, licenses, and certifications across federal, state, and local agencies. The role facilitates required training with regulatory and emergency response partners, administers ambulatory policies and procedures, and delivers data analysis and reporting to support operational readiness and continuous improvement. This position reports directly to the Director of Medical Group Support Service, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Director of Ambulatory Clinical Excellence.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree – Healthcare/Business Administration or Environmental Health and Safety, or related field, or Equivalent Work Experience - Required
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in Healthcare – Safetyor workplace violence prevention - Required
Experience in management of regulatory licenses and permits from federal, state, county, city regulating agencies - e.g. CLIAs, Business Licenses
Certifications/Licensures:
CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (Refresher Program) - CPI Crisis Prevention Institute - Required or Obtain within 1 year of hire
Current Environmental Health and Safety Specialist Certification - Preferred
Skills:
Knowledge of TJC, HICS, Title 22, Cal/OSHA, DHS, DOT – required.
Knowledge of other regulatory agencies and guidelines related to safety and emergency management.
Experience in workplace violence prevention
Proficient in data analysis and reporting
Ability to work collaboratively with managers and staff
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and detailed oriented
Ability to prioritize and lead, and manage multiple demands in an efficient manner
Experience in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint.
Work Shift:
08.0 - 08:00 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America)
Pay Range:
$44.45 - $60.02
Hourly
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
