Adecco US, Inc. Sanitation PM Shift in Wallkill, New York

Sanitation Technician (2nd Shift)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team on second shift. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility while ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize daily sanitation tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Duties:

  • Prepare production areas for sanitation by gathering necessary supplies

  • Restock facility supplies (soap, paper towels, employee PPE, etc.)

  • Clean and maintain employee common areas, including restrooms

  • Sweep floors, wipe down walls, remove garbage

  • Inspect facility areas to ensure full compliance with sanitation standards

  • Ensure high-traffic areas are cleaned daily

  • Assist in completing temperature logs and sanitation records

Additional Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all company food safety and quality standards

  • Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and equipment

  • Prioritize daily sanitation tasks to meet operational needs

  • Notify management of any discrepancies or maintenance issues

  • Communicate effectively with other departments

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of prior sanitation experience preferred

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to follow directions and work independently

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
