Providence St. Joseph Health Sterile Processing Technician in Walla Walla, Washington

Description This position is responsible for oversight of inventory controls for surgical and interventional supplies and materials. Works with Supply Chain adjust and implement supply par and bin location changes for new and existing supplies. Coordinates materials activities to meet the ongoing needs of clinicians in a procedural/interventional area. Required Qualifications: Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration Coursework/Training and Successful completion of an education training course for Supply Chain Management or another course of similar subject content 4 years of Inventory control, materials management in a computerized environment 1 year of Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem solving, organizational and customer service abilities with at least 1 year as a lead, coordinator or supervisor, with extensive knowledge of supply chain management in a healthcare organization Supervisor or manager of Central Supply, Distribution Services or Warehouse departments in a healthcare organization Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
