At NJR, we value collaboration, learning, and diverse perspectives, and believe the best ideas come from working together.As a Facilities Intern, you will:Assist facility technicians and work with outside contractors on all facets of work. Set up various conference rooms throughout the General Office for meetings. Work collaboratively with IT on employee and office moves. Assist employees with daily facility requests. Assist with setup of various company functions held at outside locations. Work with facilities to maintain office guidelines.What You’ll Bring:Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and entering senior year, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Management, or a vocational focus for electrical, plumbing or related field. Position is onsite in the corporate office in Wall, NJ. Available to work full time (40 hours per week) during defined intern program dates (June-August). Willingness to work overtime or evenings/weekends as needed, including during emergency situations. Commitment to working safely and following safety guidelines. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and follow through on assignments. Ability to work outdoors on occasion, including in varying weather conditions. Reliable and punctual, with attention to detail and accuracy.
