NOW HIRING SUMMER WORKERS
at PORCUPINE MOUNTAINS WILDERNESS STATE PARK (Ontonagon & Gogebic County Locations)
The Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is currently accepting applications for the summer of 2026.
Full or part-time summer positions are available in Porkies Guest Services at the Visitors Center & Campgrounds:
Customer Service - Sell Camping Permits & Recreation Passports, Answer Questions, Guest Services, Etc.
Maintenance - Garbage Pick-Up, Janitorial, Mowing, Etc.
Campground - Camper Check-in, Janitorial, Campsite Maintenance, Etc.
Backcountry - Trail Work, Cabin Maintenance, Etc.
Position Locations: Ontonagon County (Silver City) Union Bay Campground, Lake of the Clouds, Park Maintenance, Visitors Center & Interior/Trails
Gogebic County (North of Wakefield on County Road 519) Presque Isle Campground & Park Maintenance
Pay Rate: Starting at $15.50 per hour
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Driver's license without restrictions.
