Our client, a leading organization in the hospitality and food service industry, is seeking a USD | General Utility Worker Lead to join their team. As a USD | General Utility Worker Lead, you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of both front and back of house facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: USD | General Utility Worker Lead
Location: Waco, TX
Pay Range:
Shift: 7:00 AM start, 8-hour shifts
What's the Job?
Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen and facility areas
Delegate responsibilities to utility staff and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Maintain proper use and cleaning of kitchen equipment such as steamers, ovens, mixers, and grills
Follow safety procedures, especially when handling hazardous chemicals
Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and safety protocols
What's Needed?
Extensive knowledge of kitchen equipment cleaning and maintenance techniques
Understanding of sanitation procedures and safety protocols
Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
Willingness to wear uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team environment
