Crest Dr., Waco, TX 76705GENERAL DESCRIPTION:Under the direction of the State Parks Regional Director, this position performs complex (journey-level) project management work including the oversight of all aspects of maintenance, repair and safety management functions of all Region 5 State Parks. Performs project management functions including program budget management, highly advanced consultative services and technical assistance work. Work involves planning and implementing major agency programs including major repair, safety, alternative workforce, utilities systems management, fleet management, facilities management and equipment management. Responsible for effective coordination with appropriate park staff, Austin-based program staff and personnel from other divisions, other agencies and local entities on matters affecting assigned responsibilities. Plans, assigns and supervises the work of others. Conducts inspections of vehicles, equipment and facilities as required. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Agency, Division and Branch rules, regulations and procedures.
