Job Summary
MOR PPM Inc. is seeking a QC Welding Inspector for a project in Temple, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Must have equivalent experience level of a journeyman in the particular craftwork being inspected.
Three (3) years’ experience in quality control work relating to industrial construction and/or modification activities.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the codes, nondestructive examination, and testing methods associated with the craft work being inspected
Qualifications
Microsoft Office
Inspector certification(s) required
Reading blueprints and plans required
Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal and written communication and reasoning is required.
CWI Certification
Physical Demands
Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas
Must have full range of motion consistent with age
Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
