Description
Personalized Independent Living Opportunities & Training Services, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical oversight and staff training for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities Include:
Reviewing medical documentation (hospital discharges, urgent care notes, specialist reports)
Ensuring proper medical follow-up and staff training
Training and verifying competency of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
Providing injectable medication training per NJ Board of Nursing & DDD guidelines
Communicating medical concerns to agency leadership
Conducting annual refresher and corrective trainings
Qualifications
Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
Experience with IDD populations, residential, home care, or community-based nursing preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to travel to multiple group homes
Valid NJ driver’s license
