Job Title: Multiskilled Reactive Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Multiskilled Reactive Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair automated production equipment. This includes a wide range of machinery such as mills, lathes, grinders, washers, and assembly machines. The role involves identifying and resolving electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
Responsibilities
Read and comprehend electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
Diagnose and troubleshoot three-phase electricity and electronic circuits/systems.
Perform PLC troubleshooting and programming, as well as CNC troubleshooting and programming.
Troubleshoot AC and DC drives and motors, servo motors and drives, and related components like encoders and resolvers.
Work with IBM-based computers and possess basic networking knowledge.
Maintain and repair gearboxes and other mechanical power transmission systems.
Understand and troubleshoot ball screws, linear rails, and bearings.
Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, welding, and grinding.
Modify and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Identify and install replacement parts and modify machines as needed.
Use precision instruments and measuring devices.
Work with multimeters and basic oscilloscopes.
Troubleshoot various types of bearings and identify root causes of failures.
Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to complete essential duties.
Essential Skills
Maintenance technician experience.
Hydraulics and pneumatics expertise.
Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and industrial maintenance.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
Mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
Experience with CNC programming and robotics.
Knowledge of ladder logic and programmable logic controllers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with multiple platforms of PLC, CNC, and servo motor systems.
Basic computer skills for work order systems and email.
Experience with motor control circuits, 24v sensors, and safety devices.
Proficient in using precision measuring equipment like calipers and micrometers.

Work Environment
Join a fast-paced work environment within the automotive industry, managing 580 pieces of equipment across multiple production lines. Work within a reactive maintenance team on a rotating schedule of four 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, following initial training on a Monday-Friday schedule.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vonore, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
