Description

A construction company in Vista is hiring a Payroll Clerk to support weekly payroll processing and time tracking across multiple projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys routine processes but can also adapt to changing inputs. You’ll play a key role in making sure employees are paid accurately and on time. The right candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with time-sensitive data.
What You’ll Be Doing
Process weekly payroll and review timecards
Verify hours, job codes, and project allocations
Maintain payroll records and documentation
Assist with payroll adjustments and corrections
Communicate with supervisors regarding time entries
Support reporting and payroll tracking
Ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll processes
Assist with administrative payroll tasks
Requirements
1–3 years of payroll or administrative experience
Familiarity with timekeeping systems
Strong attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in Excel and payroll systems
Strong organizational skills
