Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $22 - $30 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Water Restoration Technician:
Respond promptly to emergency water damage service calls at various locations
Extract standing water from flooring, carpets, and crawl spaces using professional grade equipment
Remove damaged building materials such as drywall, insulation, and flooring when necessary
Set up and monitor specialized drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers
Perform moisture mapping and take regular readings to track the drying progress
Complete daily field logs and documentation regarding the scope of work and equipment used
Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and ensure all tools are in good working order
Communicate professionally with property owners to explain the restoration process and answer questions
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment on every job site
Available shifts:
Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Experience in restoration, construction, or a similar field is preferred but not required
Ability to participate in a rotating on call schedule for emergency responses
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Comfort working in tight spaces such as attics or crawl spaces
Excellent communication skills and a customer service oriented attitude
A valid drivers license and a clean driving record
Basic computer skills for completing digital documentation and time tracking
High school diploma or equivalent
Background check and drug screening required
