Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator - Night Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Extrusion Machine Operator to join our team on the night shift. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line and requires a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate an extrusion machine, ensuring the startup, operation, and shutdown processes are executed efficiently.
Work collaboratively within a team, prioritizing safety and adhering to quality specifications for both machine and material.
Identify and manage raw materials needed for production.
Operate a 60-ton propane forklift safely; training and certification provided if needed.
Demonstrate reliability in attendance and maintain a positive attitude.
Essential Skills
Experience with extrusion machines and machine operation.
Background in manufacturing is preferred.
Previous forklift operation experience is advantageous.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Common sense and a strong focus on safety are essential.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and be open to working weekends.

Work Environment
The work environment involves operating machinery in a production setting. The night shift runs from 4 PM to 4 AM, with initial training possibly taking place during the day shift from 4 AM to 4 PM. The schedule alternates weekly between 36-hour and 48-hour weeks, providing a structured yet flexible work-life balance. Dress code is practical and safety-oriented, with appropriate personal protective equipment provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Visalia, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
