Overview
We’re looking for talented individuals to spend ten paid weeks with us at The Community. Candidates must be located in Miami or NYC, or be willing to relocate for the summer. We prefer candidates who are eligible to be hired full-time when the program is over, though not required.
Copywriting Intern (Miami or NYC)
The community is looking for an Copywriting Intern to join our agency this summer!
We provide an immersive, fast-paced, Summer Internship in which you will gain a comprehensive understanding of our business, be given real client deliverables, receive hands-on mentorship from award-winning industry professionals, develop your professional skills to meet day-to-day agency and client expectations, and collaborate in teams to solve a client’s business challenge.

Responsibilities
As a Copywriting Intern, your day could include:
There’s no “day to day” in your job because every day is a new medium, a new message and a new chance to make brilliant creative, but here are a few things you can be expected to deliver consistently.
Creating and communicating concepts that intrigue and inspire both peers and clients with smart rational to back them up
A willingness to work closely with Art Directors and senior Creatives to bring daydreams to life in the form of cross-channel communications, digital marketing and site work.
An exuberant work ethic and exacting attention to detail, whether it’s punctuating your copy, answering a brief or staying true to the brand’s tone and style.
A love of collaborating with your team members — creative directors, art directors, designers, coders and other equally talented eccentrics — to consistently deliver polished, award-worthy work.
Cross-channel perfection: One concept, so many messaging mediums — you’ll be a master at making an idea translate effectively and flawlessly across all marketing assets.
Qualifications
Be a rising junior or senior in undergrad OR a Grad student working toward or recently graduated from a degree in Advertising, Creative Writing, Communication Arts, or similar program
Have a portfolio full of ideas you can’t wait to share
Have energy, a sense of humor, and an open and curious mind (yes, these things really do matter)
Have sharp writing skills and experience developing copy for large cross-channel and/or direct-marketing initiatives across media, both online and off
Love to interact with brands and keep up with trends

Compensation Range: $20.00/hr This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
