Titles: Human Resource Duration: Contract Location: New York, NY (10017) Shift Timings: 8 am to 5 pm Pay: USD 30/hr – USD 32/hr Position summary: The Leave Administration & Compensation Specialist is responsible for managing employee leave programs in compliance with federal and state regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and Paid Family Leave (PFL). This role serves as the primary point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding leave and accommodation matters, ensuring a supportive and compliant process. In addition, the role supports compensation initiatives, including pay equity analysis, salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and the development of transparent and equitable compensation structures. The ideal candidate brings experience in leave administration and compensation modeling, with strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end employee leave administration, ensuring compliance with federal and state leave laws.

  • Oversee FMLA processes, including eligibility determination, medical certification review, and tracking of intermittent and continuous leave.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding leave rights, responsibilities, and impact on benefits and pay.

  • Review and process requests for reasonable accommodations in accordance with NYS guidelines and ADA requirements.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in leave administration (FMLA, ADA, PFL).

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws and compliance requirements.

  • Experience handling reasonable accommodation requests and interactive process documentation.

  • Experience conducting compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, and job evaluations.
