Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager, Operations Excellence Enablement is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of an AI‑ and agent‑focused portfolio of work across the enterprise. This role partners closely with the Support Tools and Delivery Enablement Manager to ensure internal customer care represenatives' tools, Microsoft Copilot capabilities, and related AI initiatives are well‑organized, documented, and delivered efficiently.
This role provides strong portfolio and project management discipline across AI, agent, and operational excellence initiatives, ensuring work progresses from idea through execution with clarity and structure.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Project Management
Manage and track an AI‑centric portfolio of initiatives spanning agent tools, Copilot, experimentation, and Operations Excellence Enablement strategy
Maintain portfolio roadmaps, timelines, risks, dependencies, and status reporting
Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams to ensure progress against priorities
Partner with portfolio and initiative owners to document expected outcomes, success metrics, and realized value over time
Agent Tools & AI Initiative Support
Support execution, training and adoption of agent tool and Copilot initiatives
Capture and document requirements
Vendor Coordination
Support relationships with AI, agent tooling, training, and adoption vendors
Arrange vendor briefings, demos, and working sessions
Track vendor deliverables, requirements, timelines, and engagement outcomes
Ensure vendor work aligns to portfolio priorities and internal standards
Tool Operations & Licensing
Support operational management of select AI tools, including Copilot licensing
Process license requests and maintain usage tracking and documentation
Coordinate with technology and enablement teams on access and support needs
Documentation & Knowledge Management
Codify decisions, requirements, and processes into clear, reusable artifacts
Maintain department SharePoint sites, portfolio materials, and project documentation
Ensure artifacts are current, organized, and accessible
Communications & Enablement Support
Help prepare presentations, summaries, and leadership updates
Draft internal communications related to AI, agent tools, and Operations Excellence Enablement
Assist with execution of enablement, marketing, and change communications
What you'll bring to the team...
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
Work Experience:
5 years minimum related work experience in project, program, or portfolio management or related
Fluency with AI technologies, including M365 Copilot, agents, automation, and low‑code tools
Demonstrated experience supporting AI‑ and agent‑related initiatives
Experience maintaining SharePoint sites, PowerBI and project artifacts
Ability to interact effectively in a matrix environment and with all levels within the company
Ability to work with external vendors
Demonstrated project management skills, the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, the ability to balance short- and long-term priorities, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
Excellent interpersonal skills to include oral and written communication
Experience in leading large mission critical projects that involve significant business and/or technology change
Experience with cost benefit analysis in preparing/reviewing business cases
Strong presentation skills to communicate and persuade a wide range of audiences
Superior supervisory and matrix management skills; demonstrated ability to oversee tasks delegated to others
Track record of establishing priorities and deadlines

Master of Business Administration or Finance
PMP certification, or equivalent, or completed work towards PMP certification, or equivalent
Proven strategic planning and project management capabilities
Experience in Power Platform, GitHub and Microsoft Planner

Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
Pay Range
$89,800.00 - $134,700.00/Yr.
