Scott Electric Shop Technician in United States
Palco Power Systems , a subsidiary of Scott Electric Company, has an immediate opening for a Shop Technician professional in our Jeannette, PA branch.
Responsibilities:
Read Schematics and be able to trouble shoot electrical circuits
Modifications to Generators – conduit liquid tight
Wiring Lights, light switches, receptacles, space heaters, load centers, block heaters, strip heaters,
Perform load banks
Change voltage and solenoid coils
Change or add main line breakers
Cut panels
Straighten and paint panels on damaged generators
Install user interface covers on transfer switches
Repair and change engines
Welding and fabricating
Plasma Cutter, porta band, jig saw, reciprocating saw, hole saw, knockout punch
Cut, thread, and install black pipe
Drive forklift to load/unload trucks
Position Requirements:
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Electrical Generators
Electrical and mechanical background, required
Must pass background check and drug screen.
Possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Commercial Driver's License

Salary: $22.50/hr.
