Job Summary
Under direction, analyzes and evaluates the operations, processes, and systems related to a specific City or department program. Performs a variety of professional tasks in support of program operations and assists in delivering services efficiently and effectively. Exercises no supervision.
This position is funded by sales tax that has been approved by the citizens of San Antonio for a limited time period. This position is an "unclassified" position and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason.

Essential Job Functions
Assists in gathering, interpreting, analyzing, and evaluating program data related to performance metrics and compliance with established rules and regulations.
Support Shared Services data systems and internal data collection efforts to inform program planning, implementation, and continuous program improvement.
Supports and assists in identifying and prioritizing operational and technical needs and requirements internally and for stakeholders.
Assists with interpreting and communicating program guidelines and related City policies and procedures.
Maintains relationships with community and partner organizations regarding program initiatives.
Assists in managing budgets and resources to ensure that program meets scope, guidelines, and budget.
Monitors compliance with established program requirements associated with contracts and/or grants.
Assists in identifying and prioritizing operational and technical needs and requirements.
Assists with implementing program operations, initiatives, and services.
Participates in community outreach to ensure awareness and participation in programs.
Assists in coordinating with relevant department and city staff regarding program needs.
Assists in the preparation of written reports, summaries, and presentations on program plans and performance metrics.
Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an early childhood setting.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Ability to pass a DFPS background check.
Applicant Information
Unless otherwise stated, applicants are permitted to substitute two years of related full-time experience for one year of higher education or one year of related higher education for two years of experience in order to meet the minimum requirements of the job. One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months. One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.
