The role
Are you driven to build scalable software that truly makes an impact? Do you enjoy modernising applications and shaping cloud-native solutions? Are you looking for a team where your ideas are heard and your expertise matters?
As our new Senior Python Developer, you will play a key role in modernising applications and building innovative cloud-based solutions within our Applications xDC team, distributed across Spain. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable software that drives digital transformation.
You will contribute to technical decisions, influence best practices, and take ownership of delivering reliable, well-tested solutions. Your work will directly impact the way applications are designed, integrated, and deployed in modern cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Python.
Build and integrate robust APIs to enable seamless system communication.
Contribute to application modernisation initiatives and cloud-native architectures.
Implement containerised solutions using Docker and related tools.
Ensure code quality through automated testing, including unit and integration tests.
Collaborate in agile teams, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
Support CI/CD practices and help enhance deployment and monitoring processes.

What we need to see from you
Solid professional experience in software engineering.
Strong hands-on expertise in Python development.
Proven experience designing and integrating APIs.
Experience working with Docker and containerised environments.
Commitment to automated testing and code quality practices.
Agile mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.
Desirable:
Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django, DRF, or FastAPI.
Knowledge of Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Exposure to DevOps practices including Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
Contributions to open-source projects or personal technical initiatives.
