RCM Technologies Senior Program Manager – Hyperscale Data Center Programs in United States
Direct Placement Title: Senior Program Manager – Hyperscale Data Center Programs Compensation: Up to $225,000 plus bonus & benefits, commensurate with experience Location: Denver, CO Company Description: Our client is an industrial-scale data center construction and operations company. They allocate data center opportunities between bitcoin mining and other high performance computing services, such as AI. They continue to develop their pipeline of power capacity at high-quality data center sites, either for bitcoin mining or HPC. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead multi-project delivery oversight across a portfolio of fast-track hyperscale data center construction projects supporting HPC, AI/ML, and cryptocurrency operations. This role sits above individual project execution and is responsible for program-level coordination, alignment, and performance across schedule, cost, risk, procurement, and execution readiness. The Senior Program Manager ensures that individual projects do not optimize locally at the expense of portfolio outcomes. This is a leadership and integration role, not a reporting-only position. The ideal candidate has personally delivered complex projects and now applies that experience to govern, challenge, and accelerate multiple teams simultaneously.
Responsibilities Program-Level Leadership & Oversight
Own delivery oversight for a portfolio of concurrent projects
Ensure alignment across projects on:
Schedule strategy
Procurement sequencing
Resource allocation
Risk posture
Serve as escalation point for cross-project conflicts and constraints
Integration Across Functions
Act as the primary integration layer between:
Project Management
Engineering
Procurement
Construction
Cost Engineering
Planning
Operations readiness
Ensure decisions made in one project do not negatively impact others
Drive consistency without enforcing rigidity
Schedule, Cost & Risk Alignment
Partner with:
Senior Manager, Project Planning
Cost Engineering
Risk & Compliance
Maintain program-level visibility into:
Milestone health
Cost trends
Long-lead exposure
Systemic risks
Drive early intervention where trends indicate portfolio-level exposure
Governance & Decision Support
Support PMO governance processes, including:
Gate reviews
Executive updates
Portfolio reviews
Translate project-level data into decision-ready insights for leadership
Ensure issues are framed with options and recommendations—not just status
Project Manager Coaching & Enablement
Mentor and support:
Senior Project Managers
Project Managers
Challenge assumptions and execution plans constructively
Raise execution standards across the organization
Continuous Improvement & Scaling
Identify systemic issues and recurring friction points
Feed lessons learned into:
PMO standards
Planning methodologies
Procurement strategies
Help evolve the PMO from project control into program acceleration

Qualifications
12–18+ years of experience in:
Project management
Program management
Large-scale construction or infrastructure delivery
Proven experience managing:
Multiple concurrent, complex projects
Strong understanding of:
Design-to-construction workflows
Procurement and long-lead constraints
Schedule-driven execution environments
Demonstrated ability to operate in:
Lean, fast-moving organizations
Strong executive communication and judgment
Preferred / Differentiators
Direct experience with:
Data center or mission-critical infrastructure projects
Experience overseeing:
Fast-track or design-build programs
Background as a:
Senior Project Manager prior to program leadership
