Overview
We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with a strong background in Camunda, able to design, develop, and implement automated business process solutions using Camunda Platform (7 or 8) and Java/Spring Boot.
The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into executable BPMN 2.0 and DMN models, integrate workflows with enterprise systems, and optimize process performance. Key responsibilities include designing workflows, writing Java delegates, and mentoring teams.
Responsibilities:
Workflow Design & Development: Model, refine, and deploy BPMN 2.0 and DMN 1.3 diagrams using Camunda Modeler.
Java Technical Implementation: Develop custom Java services and Spring Boot applications, leveraging Camunda Engine APIs (Java API or External Tasks).
Integration: Connect Camunda with internal/external systems (ERP, CRM, legacy systems) using REST APIs, gRPC, or messaging queues like Kafka.
System Optimization & Maintenance: Monitor performance using Camunda Cockpit, Optimize, and Tasklist, and troubleshoot issues in process execution.
Consultation & Architecture: Advise on best practices for process automation, microservices architecture, and technical design.
Qualifications:
Overall Experience: 7+ years and 2 projects working or integrating Camunda
Technical Expertise: Strong Java 11+ knowledge, Spring Boot, Maven, Git, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle).
Camunda Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Camunda 7 or 8, BPMN 2.0, DMN, and CMMN.
Tools & Technologies: Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and experience working in Agile teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Camunda Certification.
Experience in the financial sector or complex enterprise automation.
