ManpowerGroup Senior Data Security Engineer in United States

Our client, a leading organization in the data security and cloud migration sector, is seeking a dedicated Senior Data Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Data Security Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Information Security department supporting enterprise-wide data governance and cloud security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

  • Lead the end-to-end management, deployment, and operation of the BigID data intelligence platform across various environments.

  • Implement and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and internal standards.

  • Guide technical teams in platform configuration, integration, and optimization to support data discovery, classification, and privacy initiatives.

  • Manage onboarding of new data sources, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize data pipelines using technologies like Spark and Hadoop.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote platform adoption and support enterprise data strategy alignment.

What's Needed?

  • Proven hands-on experience with the BigID platform, including deployment and operational management.

  • Deep understanding of data privacy principles, data security best practices, and compliance frameworks.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, and data processing tools like Spark and Hadoop.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell scripting.

  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
