ICONMA, LLC Scientist - Process Development – III in United States
Our Client, a Mutual Insurance Holding company, is looking for a Scientist - Process Development – III for their Foster City, CA location. Responsibilities:
Purification Process Development
Execute purification process development and characterization experiments in support of pivotal and commercial programs
Perform bench scale purification studies including chromatography, filtration, and UF/DF as appropriate
Support resin and membrane lifetime studies, robustness assessments, and process characterization activities
Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data in compliance with data integrity expectations.
Author experimental protocols, reports, and maintain high quality electronic laboratory notebook documentation
Technical Excellence & Collaboration
Support implementation of new purification technologies, instrumentation, and platform enhancements.
Troubleshoot equipment, materials, and experimental methods to improve robustness and reproducibility
Maintain a state of the art purification lab, including instrumentation readiness and workflow improvements.
Partner with upstream, downstream, and cross functional colleagues as needed on development and characterization initiatives.
Adhere to all training, safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
M.S. with 4+ years or B.S. with 6+ years of relevant industry experience in chemical engineering, biochemistry, bioengineering, or related discipline.
Hands on experience with downstream purification techniques including chromatography and filtration.
Experience with tangential flow filtration, AKTA systems, and UNICORN software is preferred.
Strong experimental execution, data analysis, and documentation skills.
Ability to work both independently and in collaborative, fast paced environments.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
