AmeriHealth Caritas Provider Performance Analyst in United States

Role Overview: The Provider Performance Analyst is responsible for providing back-end analytical and reporting support across the company to develop and deliver data-driven insights to support strategic, operational, and regulatory initiatives, with a strong focus on data accuracy, integrity, and usability.

Work Arrangement:

  • Remote - The associate may work remotely from anywhere within the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data-driven reporting and analytical solutions to meet business requirements across a wide range of subject areas, including but not limited to value-based contracting, medical management, quality management, population health, network management, contracting, marketing, member outreach, and new business initiatives.

  • Produce, maintain, and distribute analytics, reports, and datasets that support enterprise decision-making.

  • Ensure the highest level of data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and completeness across internal and external data sources used for reporting purposes.

  • Identify, onboard, and maintain data sources to ensure the ongoing availability and reliability of reporting information.

  • Identify data-related issues, perform root cause analyses, and collaborate with end users and IT partners to facilitate timely resolution.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to data sources, databases, value-based contracting models, business rules, and report policies and procedures across all lines of business.

  • Design, execute, and document testing processes related to end-user data and databases; track and manage data-related issues through resolution.

  • Support data literacy initiatives by identifying training opportunities for data comprehension and reporting; assist in developing training materials and case studies.

  • Develop, maintain, and support the settlement of provider incentive models across the company.

  • Assist in the creation of new models, metrics, and reporting approaches to measure and track provider performance.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 3 or more years of experience in data analysis, reporting, claims, managed care, or healthcare-related roles required.

  • Experience supporting enterprise reporting or analytics in a healthcare or managed care environment is preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience with at least one reporting or data analysis tool such as SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL, and/or Microsoft Access.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.

  • Experience supporting or analyzing value-based programs preferred.

  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to clearly define data sources, business rules, and reporting logic.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including business users and IT teams.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
