The Project Scheduler for our Hybrid Power Facility is responsible for the intricate planning, detailed scheduling, and meticulous coordination of all aspects related to the deployment, integration, and operation of hybrid power solutions, which typically combine technologies such as Thermal (diesel/gas), Solar, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of complex power generation projects, managing interdependencies between various energy components, and maintaining rigorous compliance with technical specifications and safety standards specific to power facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules for hybrid power facility projects, identifying critical paths across multiple integrated technologies (e.g., Solar farm installation, BESS deployment, Thermal generation setup).
Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, as well as specialized hybrid power solutions experts, to ensure schedule accuracy and feasibility.
Manage resource allocation and scheduling for specialized equipment and skilled personnel required for hybrid power systems.
Monitor project progress against established baselines, proactively identifying schedule variances, potential delays, and resource conflicts specific to hybrid power installations.
Analyze critical paths and recommend mitigation strategies for schedule risks, particularly those arising from the integration of diverse power generation technologies.
Prepare and disseminate regular project schedule reports, progress updates, and look-ahead plans to project stakeholders, including project management, clients, and technical teams.
Ensure that all scheduling activities align with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Aggreko's internal quality and safety procedures for power generation facilities.
To thrive in this role you will possess:
Proven experience in project scheduling or coordination roles, ideally within the power generation, renewable energy, or large-scale industrial project sectors.
Familiarity with the project lifecycle of energy facilities, including construction, commissioning, and grid connection processes.
Experience with hybrid power solutions (solar, BESS, thermal) is highly advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex interdependencies in multi component projects.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project), ERP systems and MS Office.
Have a strong safety acumen, excellent problem solving skills and a strategic mindset
