ICONMA, LLC Project Manager for Marketing & Messaging Operations in United States
Our Client, a Financial company, is looking for a Project Manager for Marketing & Messaging Operations for their Richmond, VA location. Responsibilities:
Project Management: Effectively managing the processes and workflow to safeguard standardization and consistency for campaign and project success.
Leading end-to-end delivery projects for mid-level complexity campaigns or projects from project initiation through execution and closure.
Utilizing RACI documentation to manage team involvement, roles and responsibilities for standard campaigns or projects
Utilizing Adobe Workfront for all project management activities, including:
Project initiation, crafting project plans utilizing standardized project templates and tailoring to the scope needs, managing resourcing of tasks, updating project timelines and status, and ensuring any risk is tracked and managed in the system, and closing out project upon completion.
Managing process controls including facilitating project approvals from internal stakeholders to ensure project artifacts are accurate and stakeholders are aligned on deliverables.
Facilitating project deliverable approvals for internal stakeholders within Adobe Workfront and corresponding partner systems, when applicable.
Proactively monitoring project work for risks and identifying and proactively resolving issues that may cause project delays.
Creating and managing project status reporting keeping stakeholders informed and aligned on team’s project management of in-flight work
Serving as the point of contact for all project process related questions and issues, partnering with subject-matter experts to respond and resolve.
Proactively escalating project or process issues that need Marketing PMO leadership or Client Success Lead support.
Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, compliance standards and policies across all project deliverables and documentation confirmation is stored within Workfront for auditing purposes.
Ensuring post-project retrospectives are conducted, lessons learned are shared and collective insights are utilized for continuous improvement in project execution and resource allocation
Process Management:
Supporting the development of new processes, evolving existing processes and participating in training and communication around the evolving ways of working.
Surfacing opportunities for continuous improvements through automation, realizing efficiencies and redefining workflows and providing recommendations to Marketing PMO Leadership and Process and Change Management for evolution.
Assisting the Process and Change Management with process documentation review/feedback, and promoting user adoption of new processes or optimized processes that support Marketing & Messaging Operations workflow.
Assisting in process guidance with cross-function team members and knowing when to escalate process challenges, or inefficiencies to leadership along with recommendations for resolution.
Utilizing standardized tools, templates and document workflows, aligning with best practices and organizational needs to create a seamless project execution experience
Operational Health Reporting: Ensuring assigned portfolios of work are monitored, managed according to target KPIs, and regularly reported to stakeholders and leadership.
Ensuring that all metric related milestones within Workfront are updated and effectively represent the current state of the project progression to aid in accurate realtime reporting.
Leveraging data and insights to make informed decisions, proactively improve project outcomes, and provide actionable recommendations for leadership
Reporting out on project status and health for assigned work streams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management or related field, or equivalent experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing project management
Basic understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, with experience in process improvement and operational reporting
Sound project leadership, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Proficiency in project management and work management software and strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making
Experience in marketing operations for financial services or highly regulated industry
Experience in utilizing project management systems
