Our Chemical Production Operators are key to our growth and are responsible for the mixing and blending of liquid and powder chemical raw materials into a finished product.
No previous experience is necessary. Training will be provided.
If team members are performing at a satisfactory level, they receive a 5% increase at the end of the 90-day probationary period. 3rd Shift Schedule: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Sunday night start, Friday AM end).
3rd Shift team members receive a $1.75/hour shift premium.
Operators will be expected to:
Adhere to all safety and quality policies
Follow safety standards, work standards, processes, procedures and batch/manufacturing card directions
Work with various types and sizes of mixing and blending equipment, machines, tow motors and lift assist equipment to load, unload, mix and blend production batches
Clean equipment
Package the finished product
Understand and follow processes and procedures; be diligent weighing and adding raw materials according to instructions; accurately & thoroughly complete paperwork recording key information
Be committed to continuous improvement by suggesting updates to processes and procedures for the department
Mandatory Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Must be committed to working safely and producing high quality products
Committed to teamwork by being approachable, respectful and willing to help others
Ability to understand and perform processes across various production department(s)
Willing and able to work 3rd shift
Ability to safely drive a forklift
Ability to wear a respirator, climb stairs, and carry materials up to 50 pounds
Capable of reading and understanding written instructions (English) and/or procedures and able to comprehend any regulations pertaining to our industry
Non-Mandatory Qualifications
Forklift/Tow Motor experience
1-3 years production and/or warehouse experience
Previous experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment
SAP experience beneficial
Ability to perform light maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Basic knowledge of chemistry such that chemical reactions taking place in the production of products is understood
