Manager - Application Engineering (Infra Projects / Tenders)
Your main responsibilities
Objectives:
The job holder is responsible for non-std. solutions of Infra/tender project requirements and application engineering activities related to Non-std. requirements.
Main Tasks:
Reading the Infra Tenders Requirements of Elevators.
Understanding of the product lines available in the company both Electrical & Mechanical.
Raising of Query to Infra customers based on the tenders for clarifications.
Preparation of compliance and deviations with respect to tender requirements.
Preparation of non standard BOM , cost and providing the inputs to Infra Estimation team.
Support for BOM PULL at the time of material ordering to Factory.
Handle queries raised or support Field with respect to technical question on Infra tender projects.
Optimization of solutions, so that non standard requirements are provided at lower cost.
Responsible for quality, on time delivery, documentation for each application engineering activities, know-how of document creation & storage as per ISO requirement.
Fulfil assigned responsibilities according to BSC, apply corporate procedures, ON's & internal guidelines.
Co-ordinating with other teams for development of non standard solution in case of highly complex cases and reverting back to Sales with solution and offer.
Handling a team of Infra Application Engineers. Monitoring the productivity, VFO and managing the team's deliverables and Project timelines.
Attend the customer meetings and guide the technical conversation.
What you bring
Education & Qualification:
Master, B.E Mechanical or B.E Electrical
- Exposure to Auto cad, Creo is an advantage
Professional experience:
min. 10 to 15 years of experience in Elevator industry.
- Preference for candidate in Infra Tender projects from Elevator industry.
Additional skills & competencies:
Knowledge of Elevator components , all safety components.
Knowledge on elevator working and functioning is preferable.
Ability to work in the teams & managing performance of teams.
Communication skills to handle the interdepartmental & intradepartmental communications.
Ability to learn new skills & acquire knowledge.
Professional behaviour.
Good English communication.
Networking skills within & outside the company.
Solid understanding of elevator codes and regulations.
