Job Description:

The Client is seeking proposals from qualified professional services firms to provide operational and modernization support for the client's ADABAS/Natural mainframe environment. The mainframe supports critical financial and administrative functions, including management of the Agency's approximately annual budget, as well as human resources processes and employee information, forming the backbone of internal systems and applications. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for professional services that ensures the ongoing reliability, availability, performance, security, and operational continuity of these mission-critical systems. The selected firm will deliver stable, responsive, and secure support while enabling the Agency to maintain control over system availability, incident management, security compliance, and the long-term sustainability of the mainframe environment. Services may include operational maintenance, modernization initiatives, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security management in alignment with Agency objectives. The initial contract term shall be for three (3) years from the date of award with two (2) additional one-year periods, for a maximum total contract term of five (5) years.

Mainframe Operations / Data Control Support

Provide operational monitoring, production control, and incident response to ensure reliable batch and online processing. Services include:

• Monitoring and control of production workloads

• Job scheduling, execution, and restart

• Abend analysis and recovery

• Production cycle and cutover support

• Dataset and operational controls management

• Incident response

• Outage coordination

• Compliance with Agency operational procedures and standards

  Required skills:

• Minimum three (3) years of experience performing mainframe operations

• Production control

• Job scheduling

• Monitoring

• Batch processing support in an enterprise environment
