IHG In Room Dining Attendant in United States

The Food & Beverage Attendant – Room Service tailors each guest's experience to their unique tastes, creating memorable moments in line with the InterContinental Service Standards. We are seeking a Part-Time Food & Beverage Attendant with weekday availability, and the ability to confidently deliver unforgettable experiences. This role requires a warm welcome, inspired recommendations, and seamless service.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

  • Provide exceptional in-room delivery of food and beverage experiences

  • Respond to guest calls and enquiries promptly, professionally, and with genuine care

  • Take, manage, and process cash and credit transactions accurately

  • Prepare and serve food and drinks to a high standard, highlighting promotions where appropriate

  • Set up, stock, and maintain your workstation, ensuring all supplies are replenished and equipment is fully operational

  • Set up and pack down the venue/outlet as required

  • Work closely with the restaurant, kitchen, and wider hotel teams to deliver a seamless guest experience

  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness standards across all work areas and equipment

  • Minimise waste and report any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents to your supervisor or duty manager

  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as required to keep service running smoothly

What we need from you:

  • Experience & knowledge - strong bar skills and previous experience working in a hotel, restaurant or bar is preferred

  • The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneeling

  • Your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories

  • The flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays, must have weekday availability.

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification (SA/Nationally Accredited) & Food Safety Certificate

  • The unrestricted right to work in Australia
