JEVS Human Services Greeter in United States
Currently JEVS Human Services has an exciting opportunity for a customer service oriented individual to join our team at the CareerLink as a Greeter. The PA CareerLink centers in Philadelphia help individuals prepare for and find a job. We provide no-cost services that help individuals successfully enter or re-enter the local workforce.
As the Greeter, you will greet customers and visitors as they enter the CareerLink. You will be responsible for answering phones and directing calls as well as maintaining the reception area. As the Greeter, you will have the opportunity to assist in clerical projects as needed.
This role, located in our Suburban Station, Center City Philadelphia office, is on-site.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively by responding to inquiries and requests within 24 hours or by requested deadline;
Provide timely and accurate communication to partners (CAO, Funders, etc.)
Collaborate with all EARN center staff to trouble shoot and resolve problems
Provide quality customer service in a high volume environment
Greet customers and visitors as directed by “No Wrong Door” Operations Procedures manual
Demonstrate professional and courteous behavior towards staff and customers at all times
Maintain reception area
Maintain confidentiality in reception area
Professional phone etiquette and pleasant demeanor
Answer and direct telephone calls
Receive and sort mail and packages
Send, receive and route faxes
Maintain up to date and accurate staff contact lists
Maintain knowledge of and answer questions about all Center activities;
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalency
2+ years related work experience.
Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Word, Outlook and Excel).
Demonstrate customer service skills required
Well organized and able to prioritize in a high volume and fast paced environment
Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays

The base pay for this position ranges from $36,600 to $38,500. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
