Responsibilities

As a Director Development you will be:

  • Supporting a Development Vice President in progressing towards achievement of long-term market strategy and financial measurement.

  • Pursuing and assessing acquisition, merger and de novo opportunities.

  • Developing a comprehensive knowledge of select market(s) and local healthcare dynamics; building strategies in tandem with the Market Strategy Team.

  • Building and maintaining network of relationships in target markets (physicians, health system executives, ASC administrators, device reps, etc.).

  • Quarterbacking multiple transactions with varying complexity, concurrently from origination through deal close.

  • Supporting a Development Vice President alongside a Operations executive, structuring proposed transactions, developing business plans, and manage the legal, compliance and executive approvals required.

  • With support of a Development Vice President, actively participate in deal negotiations and work with legal counsel on the execution of definitive transaction documents (e.g., Purchase Agreement, Management Agreement, and Operating Agreement) to support the successful execution of partnership opportunity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred

  • 5+ years of investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or consulting experience preferred.

  • Ability to independently travel up 25-50% as needed both locally and non-locally

  • Proficient skillset using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to convey the appropriate insights Strong presentation skills in one-on-one, executive briefings and large audience settings with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise manner

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive change in a positive environment including influential relationships with physicians and teammates to drive behavioral change
