Job Description
Parker is seeking a Digital & IT Senior Analyst to own and manage the global enterprise portfolio of engineering simulation and electrical design software, including related ALM/toolchain integrations that support engineering workflows. This role is accountable for portfolio strategy and governance, lifecycle planning, software asset and license compliance, deployment and infrastructure coordination, vendor management, and delivery of secure, standardized solutions to engineering teams worldwide.
Position Summary
The Digital & IT Senior Analyst – Engineering Technology will serve as the primary IT owner for a global portfolio spanning CFD, mechanical simulation, electrical simulation, and electrical design platforms, including associated modules, solvers, add-ons, license services, and integrations. The Senior Analyst ensures tools are secure, scalable, compliant, and optimized for cost and performance, while enabling engineering productivity through consistent global standards, support models, and governance. The position also supports foundational ALM/software engineering concepts such as requirements management, source control, CI/CD fundamentals, SDLC governance, and tooling integration as applicable to engineering technology environments.

Establish and maintain global standards for tool versions, configurations, validated workflows, interoperability, and integration patterns.
Lead vendor relationships including roadmap alignment, escalations, service quality management, and business reviews.
Coordinate renewals, contract negotiations, and entitlement management in partnership with Procurement and Legal.
Drive cost optimization through application rationalization, usage-based licensing strategy, and elimination of redundant tools and add-ons.
Implement practices for entitlement tracking, usage analytics, reclaim processes, and license allocation governance.
Plan and coordinate global deployments and upgrades (including packaging/automation where applicable) and ensure consistent delivery via standard enterprise channels.
Define and validate infrastructure requirements for simulation and electrical design tools, including license services, application servers, storage, and data locality needs.
Coordinate with Infrastructure teams for provisioning, patching windows, backup/restore expectations, operational monitoring, and availability planning.
Ensure solutions meet Parker security requirements (access control, segmentation, encryption expectations where applicable, vulnerability management, and secure configurations).
Maintain compliance posture for audits, export control considerations, and software licensing obligations; retain required documentation and evidence.
Lead cross-functional initiatives across multiple regions/business units using standard project management practices (scope, schedule, risks/issues, stakeholder updates, and change control).
Support and coordinate ALM-related capabilities tied to engineering workflows, including requirements management practices and tooling alignment where applicable.
Support and coordinate source control fundamentals (repository standards, permissions, branching concepts) as applicable to engineering automation and integrations.
Enable integrations and data flows across engineering tools (where applicable), with attention to authentication, data governance, traceability, and change impact.
This position may be assigned to support the following disciplines, as needed
CFD simulation platforms and solver ecosystems
Mechanical simulation (FEA/multiphysics) platforms
Electrical simulation (circuit/system-level) platforms
Electrical design (schematic, harness, PCB as applicable) platforms
License server services and usage analytics
Cloud-based simulation or burst compute where applicable
Engineering ALM toolchain integration (requirements, source control, CI/CD basics, SDLC governance)
Qualifications
This role is subject to Export Control Restrictions (ITAR) and all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Electrical Engineering preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience
5+ years of relevant work experience.
